Cake cutting is a special event for the bride and groom, but also for the guests. For the Bride and Groom, this will be the first time the newly married couple will work as a team. One hand from each, Bride and Groom, are to cut the cake! As for the guests, they went to see how the feeding of the cake will occur. Will it be sweet, or will it get messy? Oh yeah, and everyone loves wedding cake!

Mother/Groom dances are special. Grooms usually don’t like to cry, so this dance will not see as many tears as the Father/Daughter dance, but you can still sense the emotions on the dance floor. Most Grooms find this to be the hardest song to choose. There doesn’t seem to be many songs that are written for this occasion, which makes it tough to decide. Special dances at a wedding reception means more to some than others, but it seems to me that the most emotional dance of the evening is the Father/Daughter dance. I see more tears shed during this dance, than any other dance. I don’t know if it is because it is “Daddy’s Little Girl” growing up and officially moving on, or if it is the daughter realizing that it is time to start her own family. You see grandparents, mothers, and even friends with tears in their eyes during this dance.
